Covid affected all weddings this past year, I remember emailing Katrina back & forth as they we’re deciding what to do for their special day. They decided to postpone their wedding which was originally June 20th, 2020. I remember it was about a week leading up to that weekend, when I get an email from Katrina saying that they are going ahead with the original date. She didn’t even have her wedding dress, but it all come together so beautifully & I am just so happy I got to be a part of it all.
Covid really taught so many couples that they can do whatever they want for their wedding – you don’t need to have all the “stuff”, as long as you got each other & an officiant, getting married is pretty simple.
Katrina got ready in their trailer, just a short walk from the lake where they stood & said their “I do’s” in front of their closest friends & family. They then had some cake, and we went exploring the area of Bruce Peninsula, where we got the most pretty sunset amongst the tall trees. It was a simple yet beautiful day celebrating love.
