ABOUT ME

Hi!!

I’m Jess, I’m 23 years old + I’ve been capturing people’s lives for 8 years now! 

I am based in Southern Ontario, in the small city of Stratford. I grew up on Lake Huron, and my heart belongs to warm summer days at the beach. I’ve been married for 3 years to my sweet Devin. I feel so lucky to know a love like ours. Marriage is such a beautiful thing & capturing those special days will never get old.

Our home may be Ontario – but we live to travel. Exploring new places keeps me inspired & refreshed – which is why I’m always on the move, and dreaming of the next place I’ll get to experience. Some of our favourite trips include driving across Italy, skiing in Banff, island hopping in Greece, and even just camping in northern Ontario. I’m so grateful to be able to work all over the world, nothing excites me more than creating in a new place.

Outside of business + travel, I spend my time cooking + baking, listening to music,  thrifting, watching movies, visiting with the people I love, and even working at my in-law’s local cafe! As much as we are on the go, I can be quite the home-body. I love my routine at home, and thankfully this is mostly because I love this job, I look forward to working in my office, with my coffee + music, and getting to re-live the most beautiful memories. 

Wedding days certainly are my favourite thing to capture… why? It’s the couple + their unique story, it’s the people you choose to surround you, it’s the stillness of the morning (or the chaos), it’s the joy after you said your I do’s, it’s every single detail and how each wedding day is beautifully unique. No matter what the day looks like, I am here for it & cannot wait to capture it authentically. I want to be a part of this experience with you, preserving your most precious moments.

After 8 years, I’ve learned how much I am a part of your day. This is why it is so important to consider who you are spending it with. It means so much to me to work with couples who respect me and trust me. As well as couples who are willing to explore, have fun, love deeply, and most of all, to trust me with my creativity.
